Remember the weight of the world..

So I thought I'd let all you chicas out there know about this series I just discovered, called the Twilight Saga. Yes, its a young adult novel and yes, it is about vampires. But don't leave yet..I gotta stop judging things so quickly! The first book came out in 2005, and I have seen it around but I just didn't sound intrigued, a vampire love story? Uh, cool I guess..BUT! This is how good I think it is- I bought it Saturday, started it that night and finished it in the early wee hours of Monday. I could not put it down, it was soo good! I highly recommend it if anyone's looking for something different (and like love stories of course). It's about this girl who moves to Forks, Washington (yes, this state) which is apparently the rainiest place in the US- to live with her dad. And she notices this group of kids in the lunchroom sitting by themselves, and they turn out to be adopted siblings..and she gets this crush on one of the guys. She finds out that he's Edward Cullen, and she ends up as his lab partner in Biology. Bella (the girl) finds out there's something interesting about Edward, which is he is a vampire! And they're not like vampires you typically think of, who have fangs and don't go out in the day and sleep in coffins. I won't say anymore, you'll have to read. It was just different and fun and cute all in one. You just want to keep reading and get to know the characters. It does seem a little repetitive sometimes and Bella does get a little annoying with her Edward obsession. But hey, it's teenage love. And the movie is coming out in December, I will be dragging some poor soul with me..not the day it comes out, that's probably when all the tweens will run out to see it. I'm already going to order the next two books. :)

But that's my book blab. I just haven't found a series that I've loved so much for a couple years now. I miss books! I hadn't been to BN for a while.

In other news, still slowly progressively moving stuff downstairs. I'm constantly amazing by how much stuff I have. I found all these pictures of family and friends over the years and they're so funny to look at! Vacations and last days of school or hanging out...good times.

But yeah, waiting patiently for friends to come home, Folklife, et cetera. Trying to focus on chem and math, the gen series almost over!

Cyprus/London plans are kinda unknown, it seems like everyone will be busy with the wedding and I just don't want to be a burden. But we shall see, it may still happen and if not...there's always next year!

By the way, if any of you like Spoon I have to recommend this video with Brett playing "I Summon You" acoustic in a cab. I love Brett! There's this thing called Black Cab Sessions where indie artists play uncut versions of their songs in cabs in London and they're recorded. This one is pretty good, check it out! http://youtube.com/watch?v=X-r0BiEuC3M
